E. Goulielmakis is leading the research activities of the Xtreme Photonics group. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Physics and Optoelectronics respectively from the University of Crete, Greece and the PhD degree (Dr. rer. Nat.) from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) in Munich in 2005.

Santanu Mandal received his Bachelor's degree in physics from Vidyasagar University, India and his Master's degree from SN Bose National Center for Basic Sciences. He is currently working on advancing laser based microscopy techniques with picometer resolution.

Zekun Pi obtained his Bachelor's degree in physics from Lanzhou University, China and his Master's degree from Nankai University, China. His research is focused on the spatiotemporal tracking of electron motion in solids.

After a brief stint in Thermal Engineering research, he obtained his master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru where he worked on ‘Scattering of Light by Anisotropic Particles’ for his master's thesis.

Denja Vaso received her BSc in Physics and her MSc in Materials Physics and Technology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Her previous research primarily focused on Raman spectroscopy of nanoscale and biomedical systems.

Cyril Benny received his BSc in Physics from the University of Madras and MSc in Physics from Mahatma Gandhi University, India. His previous research work involved laser-produced plasmas and optical nonlinearity studies of organic materials.

Alex obtained his BSc and MSc in Physics at the Technische Universität Berlin (TUB). He worked on polarization-tailored pump pulses, used in time and angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy (TrARPES), for his master's thesis at the Fritz-Haber-Institut (FHI). During his time as a working student at the Heinrich-Hertz-Institut (HHI), he also gained experience in crystal growth on InP-based substrates.
